The Indian GP probably was a memorable and exciting one for many, especially Vettel and although India will not feature on the calender next year, heres hoping the GP will be back the following year and for years to come.

Although the fan following need to improve drastically Indian companies have not shied away from being associated with F1. One of the major visible development is Vijay Mallya Sahara Force India, Based in Silverstone, UK they still call it an Indian team and have a host Indian companies sponsoring and investing in their business. But a fairly less know, but without doubt an extremely important segment of F1 is Communication / Connectivity. Teams wouldnt be able to get data in real time without the state of the art communication systems in place, you and I wouldnt be able to watch races with proper communication between the broadcasting teams.

Tata Communications has has been the Connectivity partner for F1 for a number of years, even before Force India came into the picture. Now if only these big corporate took more initiative to promote F1 in India, like they did to cricket all those years ago.
