Seems we have a few members who enjoy music and some that play. So thought I would put this up.

as the title says what you listening too?

First up Tedeschi Trucks band. Wish I had half the talent of Dereck Trucks and Oteil Burbridge.

Lordi, Motorhead, Anthrax, Ozzy osbourne, all the stuff at the moment!

Although my tastes can vary a lot from classical to heavy metal rock, and everything in between, but currently leanign towards heavy rock and metal as you can see!

Lordi are a bit more pop'ish but loved them over since they did the eurovision, no idea what I like about them, but I just do!

I've actually been listening to Dr Dre today.

Not usually into rap much (I like Eminem who is kind rap-lite I guess).

Plus my usual mix of rock on the way into work.

Bitches Ain't fairy cakes but Hoes and Tricks!

Despite its content (which wouldn't bother me) it's an awesome tune

I was watching a youtube video of some game footage and really liked the music they had used - turns out it was by a band named Nightwish - so I thought I'd check out one of their albums - now I can't stop listening to it!

IS it out? I preordered it but mine hasn't come yet.

EDIT: Came through post about 15 mins ago. Postman must be running late. In the DVD player at the moment as it has much better sound than laptop. Will no doubt review later

It was okay, Hybrid Theory and Meteora were far better, Minutes to Midnight was different but great, A Thousand Suns they kinda lost it and this is a step back in the "right" direction, but not a big enough step. I prefer their proper nu metal-y stuff to this kind of music. Takes all sorts, I suppose but that's my own view.

Can't beat 70's blues rock.

Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, The Doors.

Headphones on, lay on the floor, close the eyes and just chill.

Just come back form a festival and have to admit one of my highlights was a band I despise but are a lot of fun live - Gallows!

After a song the lead singer said he wasn't feeling it, dropped the microphone and walked off stage. The crowd, band and people stood watching backstage were all at a loss. Band continued playing (while looking completely panicked) and I could see the people backstage talking to each other about whether they should go look for the lead singer. After about a minute he comes bounding back on stage covered in mud! Would love to be the person sat out back that just sees this big man run outside and swan dive into a puddle of mud!

It doesn't sound as good when you explain it but they really are awesome live just for the show - still hate their music!
